Our life so far
We met on August 16, 2000, during the first class (biology!) of our first day of high school. We dated on-and-off throughout high school and eventually college - even though that kept us nearly 400 miles away form each other at times! We spent the summer of 2007 together in Dallas where we both worked in research labs at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. At the end of that summer, Dan proposed to Jenny at her favorite restaurant, McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, exactly seven years after we first met. At the end of our undergraduate careers, we decided to apply to PhD/MD programs around the country together and eventually ended up coming back to our hometown, Overland Park, to study at the KU Medical Center together. Together with the two new adorable kittens, Leo and Luna, are are working to build our new life together.
